Do not train in pain!!! Pain is your body’s way of telling you that something is wrong. This could be from technique, or even just over training.

Always warm up before activity. You can use static stretching, dynamic stretching, and an easy jog to warm your muscles and increase your heart rate so your body is more prepared for activity.
- Cross train regularly. There is no law that says you have to play only one sport. Doing new or different activities can engage muscles that don’t get used in your regular sport.
